Posh and her Becks wed with marriage licence for 'sick'couples; SHOWBIZ ROMANCE OF THE DECADE SEALED BY IRISH LAW.
Details of the special certificate emerged as the showbiz wedding of the decade was formally recognised under Irish law.
The paperwork was filed with Dublin's Central Registry Office on Monday afternoon.
Only then did the marriage of David Robert Joseph Beckham and Victoria Caroline Adams become official.
Unlike most other couples, the Spice Girls singer and Manchester United and England midfielder did not have to immediately inform the authorities of their high-profile marriage.
The religious service at a small petal-strewn chapel in Dublin's Luttrellstown Castle was witnessed by just 29 guests including the pair's four-month-old son Brooklyn.
The special marriage licence was granted by Irish government authorities.
It meant that the glamour husband and wife did not have to give three months notice of their intention to tie the knot as is usually required under Irish law.
The filing of the paperwork was left up to Church of Ireland Bishop of Cork Paul Coulton who carried out the service.
He wasted no time in making sure that Ireland's biggest ever wedding was recognised in law.
The Registration of Marriages in Ireland certificate was sent to the Registry Office in Dublin's Lombard Street within three days of the ceremony.
The Bishop's prompt action means that Mr and Mrs Beckham, who were paid pounds 1.2 million for their wedding pictures, will not have to pay a pounds 10 fine for registering late.
Under an Irish law dating back nearly 130 years, all marriage certificates must be filled out by hand by the couples themselves.

European Cup winning star David Beckham describes his occupation as "professional footballer", while Posh Spice is now recognised under Irish law as a "singer/songwriter".
Unusually for an Irish marriage, the pair both list their home prior to the marriage as the same address.
And they formally pledge to live together at an address in Chesire, England.
David Alan Edward Beckham, Sandra Georgina West, Anthony William Adams and Jacqueline Doreen are named as the parents of the couple.
At the bottom of the certificate are some of the most famous autographs in the world.
The loving showbiz pair officially declared themselves as man and wife by signing their names under the heading: "This marriage was solemnised by us".
The Man United star used his full name - David Robert Joseph Beckham.
Posh Spice signed her name as Victoria Caroline Adams.
The ceremony was witnessed by Man Utd right back Gary Neville and Victoria's sister Louise Adams.
Bishop Coulton of signed the document as Paul, Cork.
But even though the couple married in Ireland they will not be bound by Irish law if the relationship ever turns sour.
Because Posh and Becks have clearly stated they intend to live in England they could have their marriage annulled under the UK's divorce laws which are much more liberal than they are in Ireland.
