Portrack's unbeaten run ended by Stockton rivals.

THE shock of the week in the North East Christian Fellowship League's Premier Division involved two Teesside teams as Stockton Churches United ended Stockton Churches Portrack's 100% start to the season.

At the start of the day, United sat thir bottom, while Portrack were second top, but first half goals from Luii King and Joey Burgess sealed the points.

Jonny Higgins scored Portrack's goal, also in the first half, but they failed to find a way back into the game thereafter.

Results Premier Division: Emmanuel Church Durham 2 Jesmond Parish Church 7; Saint John's Church Snod's Edge 6 Saint Charles RC Church Gosforth 2; Stockton Churches Portrack 1 Stockton Church United 2.

Division One: Hillsong Newcastle 8 Saint Cuthbert's Corinthians Colburn 1; Sunderland Samba 5 YAV SIFF 1. The Andy Walker Trophy Quarter Final: North Shields Community Christians 1 Consett Saint Patrick's 1 (5-4 pens).
