Poole will be much tougher; SPEEDWAY.
Bees duly clinched their place in the final of the Craven Shield with a 100-80 aggregate victory over Oxford after last night's semi-final second leg at Cowley.
Now they turn their attentions to the Speedway Star Cup when they host the first leg of the semi-final against Elite League runners-up Poole at Brandon tonight.
Bees boss Colin Pratt said: "Poole will be much tougher opposition than Oxford and we need to hit them hard and establish the biggest lead possible for the return leg on Wednesday night."
Poole have drafted in Belle Vue's Jimmy Nilsen as a replacement for the injured Scott Nicholls, but Hull's Shane Parker's guest booking for the Bees could be in doubt as he is believed to have the 'flu.
Coventry: Greg Hancock, Stuart Robson, Shane Parker, Andreas Jonsson, Billy Hamill, Scott Robson, Shaun Tacey
Poole: Mark Loram, rider-replacement for Magnus Zetterstrom, Gary Havelock, Lee Richardson, Jimmy Nilsen, Oliver Allen, Matej Ferjan.
