Pontypridd's derby day win.

UNDER-12s in the Cardiff Blues region have had a busy fixture list recently.

And last Thursday saw a Pontypridd District under-12s side pull off a hard fought victory over their local rivals and current DC Thomas Plate holders Rhondda District.

The final score was 21-12 to Pontypridd.

The try scorers for Rhondda were Callum Roberts (Treherbert) and Dale Hughes (Pontypridd) while Bobi Sheppard (Ystrad Rhondda) kicked one conversion.

The try scorers for Pontypridd were Rory Woodland (2) and Joshua Whiles-Pritchard (Pontypridd).

Joel Raikes (Pontypridd) kicked one conversion, while Rhys Hughes (Llantwit Fardre) booted a brace of two-pointers.

CARDIFF Blues Academy will take on Leeds Academy at Cardiff Arms Park on Monday, December 5. Kick-off is 7pm.

nbsp;Following the impressive display in beating Leicester Tigers 35-19 at the start of November, the Academy squad, which includes the likes of Duane Goodfield, Rhys Shellard, Dafydd Hewitt and Dai Flanagan, will play their first game at the Arms Park.

nbsp;Admission will be priced pounds 3 and tickets will be available to buy on the night.
