Ponty go on rampage; Cross Keys 0 60Pontypridd.

PONTYPRIDD were not at full strength, but were far too good for the Keys.

This was the worst Keys performance at Pandy Park for many years.

Pontypridd scored three tries in the first half and were in total control from the moment that Gareth McCarthy landed a third-minute penalty.

Next came a fine individual try by wing Owen Williams and then a splendid effort by flanker Wayne O'Connor.

Apenalty try helped take it to 22-0 at the interval.

The bonus point arrived after 50 minutes when Gavin Dacey sent Williams over and five minutes later, Dacey scored from a Chris Clayton pass.

Akick and chase brought the Williams hat-trick and then Sam Hobbs plunged over for their seventh try. Clayton and Williams added two more.
