Polyurethane dispersion.

Degussa's Tego Coating & Ink Additives has introduced LA-B 1096, a one-pack silicone modified water-based polyurethane dispersion. LA-B 1096, designed to give water-based coatings a soft feel, high flexibility, resistance to abrasion, and fast drying properties, can be used alone or in combination with a broad range of acrylic and polyurethane dispersions. It is nonflammable and low odor, supplied 34% active as a waterborne dispersion, and is NMP-free. Suggested applications include automotive coatings used on plastic and synthetic rubber, and clear wood furniture and parquet floor coatings.
