PolyFuel Named One of 200 Finalists for 'Red Herring 100'.

Mountain View, CA-based PolyFuel, a leader in engineered membranes for fuel cells, recently announced it has been named by Red Herring magazine as one of 200 finalists for the "Red Herring 100 Private Companies of North America" award program.

According to PolyFuel, the award winners will be unveiled during the Red Herring Spring 2005 conference, being held May 17 through 19 in Monterey, CA.

"Our goal as a company is both to continue to create breakthrough technology and to significantly help build the market for portable devices -- and in the longer term -- for fuel cell powered automobiles," said PolyFuel president and CEO Jim Balcom. "We are very proud that Red Herring, which has the opportunity to review virtually all important technology developments, has recognized our potential in the market."

PolyFuel noted that companies selected to the Red Herring 100 award program will present their business model and technology during the upcoming conference
