Polo in the City gallops back into Cardiff this summer.

It's one of the sports of the summer - and the Sport of Kings, of course - and Castell Polo is back in Cardiff this June.

Until the day itself, guests, players and the organisers will be preparing to make Polo in the City an unforgettable experience and we have all the essential information you need to know...

When is Polo in the City? Motorline Maserati presents Polo in The City is set to take place on Saturday,June 25 2016.

Where is it? It will take place at a specially created Polo Village which will be situated on Pontcanna Fields, Bute Park, Cardiff.

What else will be there? Ten Mill Lane will once again be hosting a pop-up bar which will serve their signature cocktails to polo spectators.

Spectators can expect a day of glamourous polo action in the picturesque surroundings of the Polo Village or hospitality marquee. As well as a luxurious pop-up bar by Ten Mill Lane there will be a variety of street food stands on offer.

Event organiser, Shakira Obaid, director at Seren7 Ltd said: "Pontcanna Fields is the perfect site. The Castell Polo Presents Series is a fantastic local event and offers a platform to the 'Sport of King's' in Cardiff, the unique event can be enjoyed by a diverse audience of all ages looking for a fun day out this summer!" What should I wear? Make an effort and you could be in for a treat.

The Mercure Holland House Hotel and Spa Cardiff will be sponsoring Castell Polo's, Best Dressed competition.

A male and female guest will be selected by a panel of fashion industry experts to win a prize worth up to PS500 supported by the hotels luxurious spa, Spa Naturel Fitness.

Hannah Francis, Manager of Urban Spa Naturel Fitness Cardiff, said: "The Sport of King's has historically been associated with glamour, in-keeping with the tradition invented by the countryside aristocracy of past eras and this competition is a light hearted way of paying homage to this.

"Guests can make an appointment at the spa for pre-polo pampering and we hope to see crazy hats, checked chinos and fabulous frocks showcased on the day."
