Politics - Demonstration in front of Grand Serail protesting salary decision.

NNA - The Union Coordination Committee set on Thursday a crowded central demonstration protesting the decision pertaining to salary adjustment.

The demonstration ended in the location facing the Grand Serail where several speeches were delivered by concerned officials in demand for correcting the decision upon fair basis.

The protesters, who came from various Lebanese regions, hoisted mottos condemning the decision and asking the government about the transportation fees -rated to be 2% of the overall monthly salary - that had no effect by the decision. "We want our total right in adjusting salariesA'those who spent decades in raising generations for building the nation do deserve an honorable way of living," the motto read.
