Policeman, miscreant killed in cross firing.
FAISALABAD -- A policeman and a miscreant were killed in cross firing in Batala Colony police limits here Saturday.
SHO Batala Colony police station Rana Rashid told reporter that the police received a call that two rival groups indulged in firing on each other at Babar Chowk.
On information, police rushed to the spot to control the situation but a miscreant, Zeeshan, opened
fire on officials. As a result, police constable Asghar Ali received serious bullet injuries and died on-the-spot. The police also returned fire and shot dead miscreant Zeeshan.
In this incident, two people, including Ali Shan and Samar Abbas, also received injuries and were shifted to a local hospital.
The police took the bodies into custody and further investigation is under progress.
