CRIME UPDATE -

Golcar and Milnsbridge continue to suffer from random acts of criminal damage.

A number of vehicles have been damaged, windows smashed and the bodywork dented. Officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) will be stepping up patrols in the Colne Valley and Golcar wards in the run up to Bonfire Night to prevent any anti social behaviour.

There are only a few shops in the Colne Valley and Golcar wards that can legally sell fireworks. Regular checks will be made over the next couple of weeks by local NPT officers. If you have any concerns about shops selling fireworks illegally then please contact your local NPT on 01484-436726.
