Police reveal having a pizza the action ... BRIEFLY.

TAKEAWAY customers had a shock - when police turned up to deliver their food.

Traffic officers seized a delivery driver's Toyota in Fartown on Wednesday night for having no insurance.

But instead of leaving customers hungry they delivered the order themselves!

West Yorkshire Police's roads policing unit tweeted: "Good deed of the night.

"We delivered the food after we seized this delivery car for no licence or insurance."

Police obviously wanted a pizza the action but denied trying to curry favour with the public.

A police spokesman could not confirm what sort of takeaway was delivered or whether it was still hot when it arrived.
