* A resident of the 600 block of Walnut Street reported at 1:51 p.m. Monday that $1,742.95 in jewelry had been purchased on a credit card without permission.

* More than $2,100 was reported stolen at 4:25 p.m. Monday from the 0-99 block of South Randall Road.

Kane County

* A resident of the 1200 block of Binder Street near Aurora reported a case of identity theft at 5:42 p.m. Thursday after receiving a letter from the IRS stating that his Social Security number had been used five times in 2017 for tax purposes.

* An iPhone6 was stolen between 11 and 11:30 p.m. Aug. 18 after it was left in a washroom at the Milk Pail, 14N630 Route 25, in East Dundee.
