Police in search for missing youngster.

POLICE are hunting a missing Huddersfield youngster.

Officers are concerned for the safety and welfare of 14-year-old Tristan Carey who went missing from his home on Tuesday, December 30, at 3.30pm.

Tristan left his home in Marsh to meet friends in the town centre and has not been seen since.

Since then there has been a reported sighting of Tristan in the town centre on January 6.

It is thought he will be in the company of his friends and associates. Tristan is described as white and about 5ft 4in tall.

He is slightly built, weighing about nine stone, and has blue eyes.

He has a fair complexion and mousy brown short straight hair.

He was last seen wearing grey tracksuit bottoms, a grey hooded top and black Nike training shoes.

Anyone with information about where Tristan is should call the Kirklees Missing Persons Unit on 0845 60 60 60 6.
