Police fails to recover abducted former intelligence Brigadier.

ISLAMABAD -- Federal police has failed to recover the abducted former intelligence officer, Brigadier (Retd) Tahir Masood, even after lapse of a whole month. Unknown persons kidnapped the former intelligence officer on 11th Oct, from his residence in defence Housing Authority Phase-2, when he was leaving his house for office.

The driver of the officer was also killed in his bid to resist the kidnapping, while police had arrived on the scene of crime and begun its investigations, replete with fingerprints and CCTV footages.

I.G police had formed four teams for investigations headed by SPs (superintendent police), yet all efforts have met with complete failure; over which IG, instead of removing the SHO of Sihala Thana, inspector Qaiser Gilani, has appointed Gilani over pressure, at one of the most restricted area of Islamabad's Red zone of Secretariat Thana.
