Police appeal to find break-in culprits; THEFT.

Police are appealing for information following a break-in at a petrol station in Fort Augustus.

The culprits gained entry to the property, located by the A82, around 4am on Saturday.

Items including cigarettes and a small quantity of cash were stolen from the business during the incident.

Police are now urging anyone with information to come forward in an effort to trace those responsible.

Detective Constable David Rennie said: "We would urge anyone who may have seen any suspicious people or vehicles around the property... to come forward.

"Anyone who may have been passing on the A82 around the time is asked to review any dashcam footage they may have and pass on anything of note to us.

"Anyone who believes they may have information is asked to call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
