POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a ten-yearold boy was robbed of his BMX bike at knifepoint.

The victim was playing in Lakeside Park, Tamworth, at around 4.40pm on Tuesday, when he was approached by an offender.

The man drew a knife and took his black bike, leaving him "frightened and shaken".

The bike is a black Voodoo Malice BMX, with silver handlebars and black and peach wheels.

It has the words "Voodoo" written on the frame and "Malice" on the seat, along with an image of a skull.

Anyone with information is asked to call Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident 593 of 14 August.
