Police CCTV appeal after glassing in city pub.

COVENTRY police have released CCTV images of two men they want to speak to after two friends were assaulted in a city centre pub.

One of the men was glassed in the attack and need stitches, while the other was slapped around the head several times.

The two friends got into an altercation with a group of men at around 2.50am on October 5, at The Oak Inn on Gosford Street.

Det Cons Tonino Rossi said: "We have spoken to numerous witnesses at the scene of this assault and carried out extensive CCTV inquiries, which have uncovered the images of two men who we are keen to identify. I would urge them to contact us at their earliest convenience and would ask anyone who knows their identity to get in touch."
