Polar bear Knut to become world's most famous stuffed animal.

Washington, Mar 24 (ANI): Knut, the polar bear who was born and bred in captivity at the Berlin Zoological Garden, may soon become world's most famous stuffed animal.

German zookeepers have said they are considering stuffing the 4-year-old celebrity polar bear, who died on March 19, and putting him on display, TMZ.com reported.

A spokesman from the Berlin Natural History Museum, said taxidermists have already removed Knut's fur and the museum is in discussions with the Berlin Zoo on whether or not to stuff the bear and put him on display.

A necropsy was performed on March 21 and preliminary test results show Knut's sudden death may have been caused by brain abnormalities. (ANI)
