This pocket atlas features the anatomy of the human body, with 907 illustrations and definitions of about 8,000 terms. All major organs and systems are treated, from general anatomy to the skin. Dauber (anatomy, U. of Tuebingen, Germany) has updated this edition to include 1250 new entries, such as some on urogenital and central nervous systems. Two subject indexes contain English and Latin listings, respectively. The volume is meant for physicians, physical therapists, medical students, nurses, dentists, physician's assistants, and others in the medical profession.
