Plucky lovers top poll.
HIGHLY-strung viola players are the busiest lovers, a racy survey revealed yesterday.
Four out of five of them would sleep with a lover on a first date, a poll of the orchestra buffs found.
And 90 per cent have had sex in the past week.
They are also the least likely members of the orchestra to be single, Muso magazine claimed.
Tubby tuba players were voted worst lovers.
Muso's editor Femke Colborne said: "This industry could gain a lot from lightening up a bit."
The viola players, whose instrument can be bowed, plucked or strummed, tear strips off other members of the orchestra when it comes to a climax in the bedroom.
More than half have had at least 10 sexual partners, while they are also regarded as the best lovers by their colleagues.
By contrast only a third of tuba players have had more than 10 sexual partners and less than five per cent of musicians think they would make the best lovers.
