Plea after man punched.

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an assault that took place on the bridge over the River Leam, on Willes Road, Leamington.

A man interrupted a dispute on the bridge between a male and female at about 7.20pm on Tuesday. But he was punched in the face by the man causing a cut above his eye.

The attacker was white with short light blond hair, 5ft 8in, aged about 18, with a stocky build and wearing a light blue top and trousers.
