The great sea lock in emden was built between 1907 and 1913. at the instigation of the client, from september 2016 until the end of 2017, a comprehensive building inspection based on din 1076 has already been carried out. the lock system was checked with regard to the currently valid flood protection. in addition, a rough investigation was carried out as to which maximum flood protection could possibly be realized on the existing construction by appropriate reinforcements on solid and steel construction. as a result of the tests and examinations, a repair concept was prepared to upgrade the great sea sluice. the object of this award procedure is the awarding of the planning services required for the structural implementation of the measure (phases 1 to 6 of the achievement picture engineering structures and support structure planning) to a general planner.
