PkhMAP for 'separate representation' in senate.

ISLAMABAD -- Pashtunkhawa Milli Awami Party (PkhMAP) Senator Usman Kakar has demanded allotment of seats in senate as 'independent opposition' for his party.

We should be allotted seats as 'independents' on opposition side, he said while talking on a point of order in senate on Wednesday.

Kakar said that we have repeatedly asked the senate chairman to allot us seats in the upper house as independent opposition. The constitution has given us the right to speak on problems being faced by us. The governorship of Balochistan has not been doled out to us. We stood by the government during the PTI, PAT sit ins in Islamabad for the sake of dignity and protection of parliament, he said.

Those who are jotting down official diary of the government are misusing the freedom of the press, he said while alluding to pro-government and sycophant journalists.
