Pistorius faces kids ban in jail bail terms.

Oscar Pistorius is set to receive the harshest bail conditions ever handed out in South Africa.

The convicted killer is set to be freed from prison to house arrest next week.

He will be incarcerated in his uncle's home with a raft of restrictions for the remainder of his sentence.

The athlete, 28, has been behind bars at Kgosi Mampuru II prison in Pretoria since last October, when he was jailed for five years for the manslaughter of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.

A member of his legal team said: "There is an expectation that Oscar will not be allowed to work with children as he had hoped.

"He will also not be able to be anywhere near a child, which was the dream that kept him going during his time in isolation.

"The bail conditions are set to be harsher than anyone has ever had before in South Africa.

"And that's on top of the house arrest, no alcohol, timed church visits and restrictions on visitors."

Pistorius will remain under supervision until October 20, 2019.

His legal team added: "Oscar has not been in great shape over the last month because he feels he hasn't been treated fairly."
