Ping Identity Launches IdentityBridge for Salesforce on AppExchange, the World's Most-Popular Cloud Marketplace for Social Apps for Business.

Ping IdentityBridge for Salesforce to provide secure SSO from Microsoft Active Directory to Salesforce Platform

DENVER -- Ping Identity([R]), The Cloud Identity Security Leader[TM], today announced Ping IdentityBridge for Salesforce has launched on salesforce.com's AppExchange. The new solution enables seamless user management and secure single sign-on (SSO) services for Salesforce applications from on-premises environments such as Microsoft Active Directory.

Built on the Salesforce Platform, the world's leading cloud platform for social and mobile business apps, Ping IdentityBridge for Salesforce is immediately available for test drive and deployment on the AppExchange. The solution will also provide "day one" support for Salesforce Identity, the recently announced standards-based identity service from salesforce.com.

"Companies of all sizes want the benefits of transparent user management and seamless single sign-on for their business-critical resources -- whether for on-premises applications or a SaaS-based solution like Salesforce," said Roger Oberg, vice president of Marketing for Ping Identity. "By extending user management and standards-based SSO to the entire Salesforce Platform, including Salesforce Identity when it becomes available, customers will be able to tap into a wide variety of applications while leveraging their own existing identity infrastructure."

"Customers worldwide rely on applications from the Salesforce AppExchange ecosystem to help transform the way they connect with customers, partners and employees in the social era," said Mike Rosenbaum, senior vice president AppExchange and Force.com Operations, salesforce.com. "By leveraging the power of the Salesforce Platform, partners like Ping Identity provide customers with valuable service - such as simple, secure, SSO - to accelerate customer success."

Seamless, Secure and Simple

Ping IdentityBridge for Salesforce is designed to perform three crucial tasks simply and securely:

* Seamlessly extend user identities from Active Directory to Salesforce

* Authenticate users

* Provide SSO from the desktop directly to Salesforce

Ping IdentityBridge for Salesforce represents a natural extension of Ping Identity's existing standards-based solutions for Salesforce. The Salesforce Platform's support for the SAML federation and SCIM provisioning standards signifies the vital role of industry standards that Ping Identity has long championed.
