British research firm Winmark conducted a study of general counsel in the U.K., asking 81 GCs about changes in the way they practice law and do business. Here are some of the results:
48% ARE INCREASINGLY GOING TO THE BAR FOR LEGAL ADVICE

27% ARE SENDING LESS WORK TO THE U.K.'S FIVE ELITE FIRMS

29% ARE SENDING MORE WORK TO SECOND-TIER LAW FIRMS

71% BELIEVE THEIR LEVEL OF INFLUENCE WITH THE BUSINESS HAS INCREASED
