Pillion riding banned in Karachi for one month.

KARACHI, October 16, 2009 (Balochistan Times): Following wave of terrorism incidents in the country, Home Department Sindh has imposed a ban of one month on pillion riding forthwith without any delay. This was decided in a high level meeting the other day. Police sources say that pillion riding could be a danger to security thus on the directives of the high ups pillion riding is banned for next four weeks. On the other hand, strict security measures are being taken following series of suicide bombing in Lahore, Kohat, and Peshawar etc. All the vehicles entering city will be methodically checked.
