Pilgrims play is very tempting!

DUDLEY-based Saltmine Theatre Group has created a new production of John Bunyan's classic novel The Pilgrim's Progress.

Bunyan was a non-conformist who was imprisoned a number of times for preaching outside of a church.

It was during his time in prison that he wrote The Pilgrim's Progress, which has since been translated into more than 200 languages.

A Christian allegory, it tells the story of Christian and his companions as they embark on a journey to reach the Heavenly City. But on the way the group face dangers, temptations, trials and challenges.
