Pick of the day The Impressionists - Painting and Revolution BBC2, 8pm New series. Critic Waldemar Januszczak studies the achievements of painters associated with the art movement, beginning by delving into the work of four of the most influential artists - Pissarro, Monet, Renoir and Bazille. He visits the West Indies, Paris and London to examine the social and cultural influences on their work, and finds out how they broke conventions by depicting everyday encounters in natural surroundings.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 - Behind the Magic ITV1, 7.15pm Behind-the-scenes look at the concluding film in the fantasy saga, which opened yesterday. Ben Shephard finds out about the production team''s use of CGI to portray Hogwarts, how 2,000 wands were needed in the film''s epic battle, and that the Great Hall had to be destroyed and rebuilt three times during filming. Daniel Radcliffe reveals how he wants to keep Harry''s glasses, and he, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint share their feelings on the end of an era.
