(10pm) Derren Brown returns to Channel 4 with a new special which is cloaked in secrecy, except for the promise that he will take a member of the public on a life-changing journey.

Law & Order: Criminal Intent (10pm) An aspiring author is murdered, setting in motion an investigation that leads Goren and Eames to suspect the involvement of a celebrated writer whose career has gone into decline. Vincent D'Onofrio stars.
