PianoDisc introduces the Opus7 piano player system, offering broadband Internet access to thousands of titles so users can receive and play live concert performances by artists from all over the globe.

Opus7 provides full digital stereo accompaniment of live vocal and orchestral performances from the MX3 on-board music library.

"Because of its increased processing power, Opus7 doesn't just read notes and play them on the piano," says Tom Lagomarsino, PianoDisc's executive vice president. "The system replicates performances by some of the world's best artists ... note by note, tone by tone."

Users can download music from a music library--containing thousands of titles--as well as system upgrades from PianoDisc.com. Opus7 offers a 20 GB hard drive, preloaded with forty hours of music in a dozen different genres.

The system is controlled by a lightweight wireless computer conductor tablet with a full-color touch-screen interface. The tablet's radio frequency broadcasts several hundred feet, even through walls, allowing the Opus7 to be controlled from virtually any room in the house.
