In this book, professional photographer Seth Joel explores the creative possibilities and explains the techniques and equipment necessary for making stunning still life photographs. Six sections cover the major subjects areas of still life photography: art, jewelry, food, models, beverages and power images. Each chapter presents a number of stunning full-page photos about different aspects of the topic and each photo is accompanied by substantive text material providing advice about equipment, lighting set-up, and preparatory procedures. A diagram of camera and light set-ups accompanies most of the eye-stopping images. A worthwhile addition to a photography studio library shelf.
