CRIME Photographer attack: 4 arrests FOUR teenagers have been arrested in connection with an unprovoked attack on a clubland photographer stabbed in his back and battered as he worked the nightlife beat in Birmingham.
Stu Williams was set upon by five men in an unprovoked attack in an underpass opposite the Mailbox.
The Birmingham Mail reported how the 45-year-old was left with a broken nose and needing four stitches in his back.
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Police said: "Police were called to the underpass near to the Malibox in Birmingham just before 10.45pm on Saturday, January 31, following reports of a man being assaulted.
"On arrival, officers found a 45-year-old man with a stab wound to his back.
"An area search was conducted and four Walsall teenagers, two aged 17 and two aged 19, were arrested on suspicion of wounding on Smallbrook Queensway.
"They were questioned and later released on police bail pending further inquiries."
