Photoelectric switches re-housed.
Erwin Sick has introduced its latest range of V12 photoelectric switches, all redesigned and rehoused in cylindrical M12 housings. The new versions use state-of-the-art technology, offering users a quality, low cost solution for a wide range of applications. The M12 sensor housing is now standard for proximity switches.
The V12-2 OPTO-series offers consistent housing and mounting technology for a variety of sensors including the V12-2 series optoelectronic proximity switches (photoelectric switches), IM12 series inductive proximity switches, and the MM12 series magnetic proximity switches.
New features include increased sensor power throughout its family of photoelectric switches and enhanced scanning distances. The 2xVT12T-2 photoelectric proximity switches have scanning distances of 100mm or 300mm with adjustable sensitivity--either by teach-in or externally via a control input for automated processes. The VL12-2 photoelectric reflex switch provides a range of 2.3m (PL80A reflector), a polarisation filter for reliable detection even when surfaces are critical, and a red light to support alignment on the reflector. The VS/VE12-2 through-beam photoelectric switch is also available, now with an expanded range of 4m.
