Phone call frustration; yourLETTERS.
WHY, oh why, when I wish to telephone an office for a bit of
information, can I never speak to someone direct? All you hear is
"if you require" A, press 1, B, press 2 or online www dot co.
dot etc. By the end of all the talking which seems to go on endlessly, I
have almost forgotten why I was telephoning in the first place.
Where has that pleasant voice gone, saying "Good morning, can
I help you"? Please voice, come back. Everyone is not online by a
long way, particularly as it is often older people who are seeking
advice. From one bothered, very old lady.
