Phillips in Brum call; CHAMPIONSHIP NEWS AND ACTION SPECIAL B'ham v Ipswish.

KEVIN PHILLIPS reckons Birmingham City need to start coping better with being Championship big-shots.

The veteran striker is amazed that second-placed City are in the promotion picture at all, after failing to play anywhere near their potential all season.

Alex McLeish's side are six-points off leaders Wolves and Phillips said: "Teams see us as a scalp. When you're at the top every team wants to beat you.

"They see us as a big club who got relegated last season. We have to deal with that."
