Philip B. Rogers.

Philip B. Rogers (photo), has been named senior vice president and manager of the eastern region of Axiom Real Estate Management, Inc., the new property and facilities management joint venture between IBM and Grubb & Ellis, the nation's largest full service real estate firm.

Axiom began operations in September with 1,700 employees and approximately 80 million square feet of office, industrial and retail space under management. Rogers will oversee nearly half of that space, with properties totaling 37 million square feet located in the eastern region. Axiom has offices in New York, Philadelphia, Princeton, New Jersey, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, and Tampa, Fla., covering the eastern region.

Prior to the formation of Axiom, Rogers was senior vice president, eastern region, in the national property management services division of Grubb & Ellis. He is a certified property manager (CPM), and remains active as a board member in the Philadelphia Chapter of the Institute for Real Estate Management (IREM), where he formerly served as president. Rogers was previously a board member of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).
