A BRAVE Black Country rock drummer who has not let Parkinson's Disease stop him from playing has organised a music festival to raise funds for research into the condition.

Pete Boot played on 70s Welsh rock band Budgie's acclaimed In For The Kill album but was diagnosed with the disease 11 years ago, aged 47.

The Fill Your Head With Rock festival runs at Gilbert's Bar in Field Street, Willenhall over the Bank Holiday weekend, from May 23 to 25.
