Personal Watercraft.

The National Park Service announced in September that Cape Cod National Seashore will be closed to all personal watercraft. The agency, however, has not yet said when it will enact the ban. After seeking the input of the park's citizen-led advisory commission and the general public, Cape Cod's superintendent, Maria Burks, stated that "it became very apparent that use of personal watercraft was a new use that was inconsistent with the fundamental values and traditional uses of the park." NPCA members sent hundreds of letters and e-mails to the park to voice their support of a ban,
