Pernod Ricard set for big move to Jozi.

Pernod Ricard South Africa (PRSA), a co-leader of wine and spirits worldwide will officially relocate its Cape Town offices to Woodmead, Johannesburg by 31 December 2019. This move set to enhance cohesion, collaboration and efficiencies as it will unite the South African affiliate based in Cape Town with Pernod Ricard sub-Saharan Africa (PRSSA) head office based in "the City of Gold" in one office.

Lead market

The development is the culmination of the hard work and success of PRSA since its establishment in 1994 and the growth of PRSSA affiliates to a level of maturity over the past seven years. All support roles to the sub Saharan affiliates will be consolidated into PRSA becoming the Lead Market which will focus on critical areas: finance consolidation, tax, pan-regional marketing campaigns, Route-To-Market, talent management, digital, sales capabilities, strategy and planning.

'The unification in Johannesburg, which is viewed as the economic hub of South Africa and the gateway to the continent, will allow better connections with our Sub-Saharan affiliates and drive a renewed cohesion for the business in our ambition to become the number 1 in Africa. It will also reinforce our organization in South Africa where,' says Paul-Robert Bouhier, managing director PRSA.

State-of-the-art environment

'The new office will continue to represent our convivial culture and our ways of working. We will create a state-of-the-art working environment for our employees, embodying the Pernod Ricard values of entrepreneurship, mutual trust and sense of ethics' concludes Bouhier.
