Permanent representatives of Kyrgyzstan and Paraguay to UN sign joint communique establishing diplomatic relations.

Permanent Representatives of Kyrgyzstan and Paraguay to the United Nations Taalaibek Kydyr and Jose Antonio dos Santos signed a joint communique on establishment of diplomatic relations between two countries in New York on May 23, reported MFA press office. The document states that Kyrgyzstan and Paraguay desire to promote mutual understanding and strengthen friendship and cooperation between two countries, guided by principles and objectives of the UN Charter and international law, decided to establish diplomatic relations in accordance with the provisions of Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations from April 18, 1961, Vienna Convention on Consular Relations from April 24, 1963 and based on principles stipulated by the UN Charter. After signing ceremony, Permanent Representatives noted that the establishment of diplomatic relations is an important step in further development and strengthening of bilateral cooperation between countries, as well as cooperation within the UN and other international organizations.
