Perlos to re-arrange and rationalise its antenna production.

NORDIC BUSINESS REPORT-13 June 2003-Perlos to re-arrange and rationalise its antenna production(C)1994-2003 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Finnish precision plastics manufacturer Perlos Oyj said today (13 June) that it would make adjustments to its antenna business in order to better integrate it to its current service offering.

In conjunction with the adjustment process Perlos would re-arrange and rationalise the antenna production in Malaysia and China, and supporting functions in Sweden and Singapore.

The Malaysian antenna plant would be closed down by the end of this year, and the mass production of antennas would be transferred to the company's plant in China and the prototype and small series production would be relocated to facilities in Singapore.

The offices in Sweden and in Singapore would be developed into technical and sales support centres to cover a bigger part of the company's overall product and service offering, according to Perlos.
