Perfect for warmth.
According to H&M the celebrity's new Bodywear range few off the shelves of its Bahrain outlets and was particularly popular with wives wanting to place something special under the Christmas tree for their hubbies.
In an exclusive interview with GulJWeekly, Beckham said: "The new pieces are perfect for warmth and comfort this winter, and for lounging around at home.
"There's a great morning gown which is designed to feel like the perfect hoodie, and some great new pyjama pants with a draw-string waist.
"There's a whole selection for lounging, with a henley and long johns with padded elbows and knees, as well as some lounge shorts and a lounging crewneck T-shirt with great V-notch stitching at the neck.
"We've also included a towel in the collection. It's important to me that Bodywear means more than just briefs and T's. It's about all the pieces I like to wear close to my body, whatever the occasion.
"My Bodywear range is a collection of all the essential pieces I need in my wardrobe, which I know other men will love too.
"We introduce new products when there is a new piece which will add something fresh to the collection. Each of our pieces goes through the same design process, where we concentrate on fnding the best ft, and the most comfortable shape, as well as ensuring all the seams and labelling are soft and comfortable to wear.
"The great thing about my Bodywear collection is that the core pieces will always be there, so you know you can always fnd your favourite David Beckham Bodywear pieces at H&M around the world."
Beckham has signed a long-term alliance to produce and exclusively sell his Bodywear line in around 1,800 H&M stores in around 40 countries worldwide.
"David Beckham is a true icon both of sport and style. It is incredibly exciting for H&M to be entering into a long-term partnership with him," said Ann-Sofe Johansson, H&M's head of design.
Considered by many to be one of the most marketable individuals in the world, Beckham and his longtime business partner Simon Fuller in 2011 announced the launch of a new branded product line. "This partnership with H&M is an important step in the evolution of David's journey from sporting hero to entrepreneur and icon," said Mr Fuller.
The star is also enjoying the partnership and as his football career is about to start on a new path, he'll be keeping his fashion followers on their toes too.
"We've got loads of great new ideas in development," Beckham added. "I can't wait to share them with you in the seasons to come."
H&M has also proved to be one of the major 'pulling power' stores in the Bahrain City Centre complex and was brought to the kingdom under the umbrella of M.H. Alshaya Co. There are two shops in mall alongside an outlet at Seef Mall.
M.H. Alshaya Co is the retail business of the Alshaya Group, which was founded in Kuwait in 1890 and today represents one of the most dynamic companies in the Middle East.
