Perfect car in demand.

An eagerly awaited supercar described by motoring expert Jeremy Clarkson as `perfect' is hot property with the region's big spenders.

The awesome Aston Martin DB9 was launched to widespread critical acclaim with enthusiasts, entrepreneurs and millionaires fighting to place their order for the latest British, James Bond inspired car.

In his weekly motoring column in a national Sunday newspaper, Clarkson described the DB9 as: "The union of everything man knows about technology, machinery and refinement and knee-tremblingly, good looking."

His words seem to have a struck a chord with those lucky enough to have pounds 103,000 to spend with a bulging order book at Reg Vardy Specialist Cars, the Sunderland-based Group's dealership at Stoneygate, Houghton-le-Spring.
