PETROFAC, the international oil and gas facilities service provider, announced that David Evans has joined Petrofac Training Services as the global head of emergency response and crisis management (ERCM).
Evans will be responsible for growing the business in the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia, Americas and Asia Pacific regions, in terms of new service lines and new customers.
Previously, Evans was the managing director of Link Associates International. He joined the firm, part of the US Seacor Group, in 1991 and has been the MD since 2001. A recognised expert in crisis management, Evans brings an extensive knowledge of risk management across the sector to Petrofac.

The appointment comes in response to increased demand for services across the spectrum of operational and enterprise risks.
