Penguin appoints new product manager for Brands and Licensing division.
Publisher Penguin has announced that it is to appoint Amy Tipper to its sales team in the role of product manager for the Brands and Licensing division.
Tipper is currently senior fiction buyer at Borders UK and was the winner of the Young Bookseller of the Year Nibbie.
According to booktrade.info, Brigid Nelsen will be handing over responsibility for the Brands and Licensing division to Tipper so that she can focus on the Puffin list and add Dorling Kindersley Children's to her role.
Nelsen and Tipper will both report to sales director Ian Moore.
