IN May the Massey Ferguson Photographic Society is 50 years old. If there is enough interest shown by any old members I shall organise a reunion at the Massey Ferguson Social Club in Broad Lane. My only sister smoked cigarettes for much of her adult life. She developed lung cancer and died in pain well before her 60th birthday. Such an unnecessary tragedy.

Coun David Skinner, Westwood Ward Coventry City Council. I AM writing to express my disappointment at the government's decision to scrap the educational maintenance allowance (EMA) that further education students in the region receive.

This retrograde step will only act to discourage those from the poorest families from continuing full time education at a time when skills will be all the more necessary to succeed in the labour market.
