BRIAN Davison is writing a book on National Service experiences abroad, from 1946 to 1963, and would like to hear from National Servicemen from the three Services, with short, unusual or humorous military tales to share.

He needs the experiences of those who served in Austria, Abyssinia, Aden, Borneo, Ceylon, Gibraltar, Malta, SHAPE HQ, Sudan, Bahrein, Oman, Hong Kong, India, Korea (front line), Khartoum, Jamaica, Bahamas and Bermuda. Also Monte Bello, Emu, and Malden nuclear test sites.

Please telephone Brian Davison on 01642 274261 or write to 19 Kirkdale Way, Acklam, Middlesbrough, TS5 7JS, or email to: bhdavison@hotmail.co.uk MY wife was sorry to see that the horoscope was missing in Thursday's paper (November 19).

David Whitlock, Foreland Way, Coventry. Thursday's horoscope was missing from the Telegraph due to production problems. We apologise for the hitch.
