Pellegrini's cup rant.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini reckons today's FA Cup clash at Chelsea is not a "real game" - because Champions League priorities mean he can't play his strongest side.

Pellegrini says the heart has been ripped from the Stamford Bridge clash by the FA's crackpot scheduling.

The Chilean boss said: "It's not a real game. Not when you have to pay for the ticket. I always give a lot of importance to the cups but the fans maybe think: 'Why am I doing this?' "We're going to play with a young team because we have no other option.

"We must try to change the FA Cup. I'm not sure how we'd do that - maybe one solution could be games without a replay."
